B2B and SaaS Influencer Marketing: How to Work With LinkedIn and Niche Creators

B2B influencer marketing through real brands: what Notion, Salesforce, Sprinklr and SAP did with creators, what LinkedIn creators charge and a 90-day plan.

B2B influencer marketing works when practitioners your buyers already follow show your product inside a real workflow, and the brand keeps working with them for a quarter or longer. A B2B influencer is anyone a professional audience already trusts: a practitioner who does the buyer’s job, a LinkedIn creator, a YouTube educator, a newsletter writer, a podcast host, a consultant or an analyst. Audiences are often small. What matters is how many followers hold the job titles you sell to. Start with three to five niche creators, one workflow and a tracked link each.

Notion’s early influencer program began with YouTubers who already used the product. Ben Lang, who ran it, wrote in March 2024 that full videos beat 60-second ad reads on cost per acquisition most of the time, and that signups ran at two to five times the baseline in some geographies when several creators posted together. In May 2025, Notion’s head of influencer marketing told Digiday that LinkedIn had grown to about 40% of its influencer budget. Salesforce promoted its Dreamforce conference with two office-humor creators, and Hello Partner credits that campaign with 16.6 million impressions and 1.3 million engagements.

Sprinklr built a masterclass called Socialverse around four outside marketing experts, and its agency, TopRank Marketing, reports over 5,000 registrations and a reach of more than 23.4 million people. SAP’s Tech Unknown podcast put influencers and industry experts alongside its own executives, and TopRank reports a 66% increase in downloads over the previous season. Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise ran an awards program with five expert judges, and according to TopRank it attributed about $3 million in pipeline revenue to the program. In each case a small cast of credible outsiders fronted something the brand could reuse.

Formats map to the buying stage. LinkedIn workflow posts and screen-share videos build awareness with peers in the same role, co-hosted webinars and live builds produce registrants and a recording, and YouTube reviews keep getting found by people comparing tools. LinkedIn’s Thought Leader Ads let a company sponsor a creator’s post with the author’s approval. To find B2B influencers, start with people already using your product, ask buyers who they follow, and search LinkedIn and YouTube by topic. Measure with a tracked link per creator and a “How did you hear about us?” field, then read demos and pipeline at 90 days.

B2B creator rates are negotiated, so every figure is a planning range. ContentGrip’s June 2026 analysis puts one LinkedIn post from a creator with 10K to 100K followers at $500 to $5,000, and cites Favikon data in which about 81% of post prices fell between $200 and $2,000. One LinkedIn creator told Digiday in May 2025 that most creators charge about 1% of their follower count per post. For YouTube, ContentGrip puts an integration on a channel with 10K to 100K subscribers at $500 to $5,000 a video. Video, ad access and exclusivity raise the price.

On Aurelia, a B2B or SaaS brand posts one campaign and the agency work happens in software. Start from a B2B software template or drop in the brief you already have. Invite the practitioners you have found with one link or let creators apply. Application questions screen by role and tools, and Aurelia’s picks rank applicants by fit with the brief. Contracts are written from the campaign, drafts get comments at the exact second, and creators are paid once the brand approves their work. The workspace is free, with one platform fee added on top of the creator budget.
