UGC Pricing in 2026: What Brands Actually Pay Per Video (and What Usage Rights Add)
How much does UGC cost in 2026? Line-item prices for UGC videos, hooks, raw footage and paid usage, plus what 5 videos cost on Billo, Trend, Insense and more.
How much does UGC cost in 2026? Marketplace data puts a single UGC video at roughly $90 to $180 before extras. On Collabstr's marketplace the average paid UGC collaboration in 2026 was $154, with creators asking $180 on average, and Influee lists $91 as the average price of a 30-second US video. Rate guides written for creators run much higher, from about $150 for beginners to more than $1,000 for established creators, because they describe different creators and different packages.
Price UGC line by line. A base video usually means one edited 15 to 60 second video with one concept, one hook and organic use. Extra hooks, raw footage, photos, extra revision rounds, paid usage, perpetual rights, whitelisting or Spark access, exclusivity, rush delivery, product and shipping, platform fees and management fees are all separate lines. One creator-facing guide from Influee suggests about $50 per extra hook and 30 to 50 percent of the base rate for raw footage; treat those as asking prices.
Usage rights are the line that moves a quote most. Later's 2026 pricing guide says usage rights add 30 to 50 percent to the base rate and cost more with longer terms and paid placement. A $154 video with six months of paid usage at 40 percent costs about $216. Some platforms bundle the license: JoinBrands includes unlimited usage rights and ad codes, Trend fully licenses approved content, and Insense plans include full digital rights. Running ads through a creator's handle also needs in-platform permission, such as a TikTok Spark Ads code.
The same five-video order costs very different amounts depending on how you buy it, as of October 2026. At $154 per video, a direct hire costs $770 before paid usage. Trend's $550 Starter pack covers up to six videos at its entry creator tier and Billo's $500 pack covers one to five videos, with ad licensing included. Fee-on-top marketplaces land close together: about $847 on Collabstr's free plan, $869 on Aurelia where the $99 minimum applies, and $885.50 on JoinBrands. Some also charge creators: as of October 2026, Collabstr takes 15% of the creator's payout and Aurelia takes a 10% creator fee, already taken out of the take-home creators see before they apply, so creators take home $693 of the $770 on Aurelia. Subscription marketplaces cost more for one-off orders: about $1,076 on Influee and $1,574 on an Insense trial.
To get quotes you can compare, write the spec first, decide usage before asking for prices, send every creator the same itemized request, convert each quote to cost per finished video and per ad variation including fees, agree included revision rounds and when payment is released, and put the usage term, channels and exclusivity in the agreement before filming. Hooks are usually the cheapest way to multiply ad variations, so buy them before new concepts.
Aurelia is the creator campaign marketplace where a brand posts one UGC campaign and the whole job runs in one place. You set the pay per creator and the deliverables once, creators see their take-home, with Aurelia's fee already taken out, before they apply, and Aurelia ranks applicants by fit with your brief, flagging when someone's usual rate sits above your pay. The agreement is written from the campaign, with optional paid-ads and exclusivity terms; shipping, content review and payment happen in the same workspace, and usage rights are recorded at closeout. The workspace is free, with a platform fee per campaign on top of your creator budget, starting at 10% with a $99 minimum, plus a 10% creator fee as of October 2026: a $3,000 creator budget costs the brand $3,300 and creators receive $2,700. The budget is paid in before the campaign goes live and held until the work is approved; creators are paid to their bank automatically when the brand approves it, approved work is always paid, and a brand can cancel at any point and get its campaign budget back, minus the platform fee.
