How Much Does TikTok Pay? Creator Rewards RPM vs Brand Deals vs TikTok Shop (2026)

How much does TikTok pay in 2026? Creator Rewards RPM per 1,000 views, what 1M views pays, brand deal rates and TikTok Shop commission, plus a calculator.

How much does TikTok pay? TikTok does not publish its Creator Rewards rates, but Influencer Marketing Hub's October 2026 estimate is $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views, or about $400 to $1,000 per million qualified views. As of October 2026, TikTok's US program terms require creators to be 18 or older with 10K authentic followers, 100K views in the last 30 days and a personal account, and only publicly posted videos of at least one minute earn. Rewards are paid on the 15th of each month once the balance reaches $50.

Qualified views are a subset of public views. TikTok's Help Center counts unique views from the For You feed and excludes views under five seconds, paid and promoted views, disliked views and fraudulent or artificial views, and a video starts earning once it reaches 1,000 qualified For You views. That is why a 40-second video with millions of views earns nothing from Creator Rewards, while a 90-second explainer with 700K qualified views would pay roughly $280 to $700 at the estimated rate.

One brand deal usually beats a lot of views. Influencer Marketing Hub's 2026 planning ranges put one TikTok video at $50 to $200 for accounts under 10K followers, $200 to $800 at 10K to 100K, $800 to $5,000 at 100K to 1M and $5,000 to $50,000 or more above that. At $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views, a single $200 to $800 sponsored video equals the Creator Rewards on 200K to 2M qualified views. Paid ad usage is priced on top; Later's 2026 guide puts it at 30 to 50 percent of the base rate.

TikTok Shop affiliates earn commission on each sale, at a rate the seller sets per product; Shopify's August 2026 guide says TikTok lets sellers set 1 to 80 percent. US affiliates need to be 18 or older, based in the United States and have at least 1,000 followers, and accounts under 5K followers start in a 30-day pilot with posting limits. LIVE Gifts convert to Diamonds at a rate TikTok sets and does not publish, Subscriptions pay 70 percent after fees and up to 90 percent with milestone bonuses, and TikTok One brand projects start at 1,000 followers.

Where to focus depends on the videos you already make. If your best videos are under a minute, Creator Rewards pays nothing on them, so brand deals and Shop come first. Minute-plus explainers that people search for suit Creator Rewards. Under 10K followers, TikTok's view payouts are not open yet, but brand campaigns and UGC work are. For most creators under 100K followers, the strongest order is brand campaigns first, Shop on products you trust, and Creator Rewards as a bonus on longer videos.
