TikTok One for Creators: Creator Marketplace Requirements, One Pay and How It Compares

TikTok Creator Marketplace requirements inside TikTok One: 1,000 followers for projects, how One Pay works, and how it compares with TikTok Shop and Rewards.

The TikTok Creator Marketplace now sits inside TikTok One, TikTok's creator-marketing suite, and in the app it still appears as Creator Marketplace under TikTok Studio. As of October 2026, TikTok's help center lists the requirements: be 18 or older, live in a country or region where TikTok One has launched, follow the Community Guidelines and Branded Content Policy, and have at least 1,000 followers to take part in brand projects, plus whatever each project asks. The 10,000-follower figure in older guides matches only Creative Exchange, according to Tubefilter.

Brand projects reach creators three ways. A direct invitation lands in the TikTok inbox under Monetization, where you can accept the terms or negotiate. Open applications sit in the Explore tab, ask eligibility questions and are capped each week, with the cap rising as you complete projects with well-performing videos. Invite links from brands should always point to a tiktok.com address, must be accepted within seven days, and use offline payment and pricing. In every route, TikTok says payment is sent after the video is submitted and confirmed by the brand.

TikTok doesn't publish rates, so creators set a starting rate on their profile and test it against outside benchmarks. Influencer Marketing Hub's 2026 planning ranges put nano TikTok videos at $50 to $200, Later's 2026 guide puts nano posts at $100 to $500, and Collabstr's 2026 report shows an average paid TikTok collaboration of $186. Boosting a creator's post as a Spark Ad needs the creator's authorization code, so ad usage belongs on its own line; Later's 2026 guide says paid-ad usage typically adds 30 to 50 percent.

TikTok One Pay was announced at TikTok's Creators Summit in late September 2026. Tubefilter reports that it pays creators for brand deals made through the TikTok One marketplace in under 30 days after the video posts, with no commission taken by TikTok. Markets and rollout details were not stated in the coverage we verified, and deals arranged by email or DM outside TikTok One are paid on whatever terms the creator and brand agree, so those terms belong in writing.

TikTok One, TikTok Shop affiliate and the Creator Rewards Program pay for different work. TikTok One projects are paid by a brand for briefed videos and start at 1,000 followers. US Shop affiliates earn commission from 1,000 followers, but accounts under 5,000 start in a pilot with product, posting and campaign limits. Creator Rewards pays on qualified views and asks for 10,000 followers, 100,000 views in the last 30 days and original videos at least one minute long. Below these lines, creators can keep building samples and pitch brands directly.

The three TikTok programs also pay differently, as of October 2026. A Creator Marketplace project pays a fee the brand proposes, sent after the brand confirms your video; Tubefilter reports One Pay pays within 30 days of the post with no TikTok cut. Creator Rewards pays on views of videos at least a minute long, on the 15th of each month once your balance reaches $50, at a rate TikTok doesn't publish; Influencer Marketing Hub estimates $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 views. Shop affiliate commission is revenue minus refunds times the seller's rate, typically paid 15 days after delivery.

Aurelia is the creator campaign marketplace where brands post campaigns and hire creators of any size, with no follower minimum. Brands see applicants ranked by fit with their brief rather than follower count, and you apply in a few taps with your media kit, stats and answers attached. Every campaign shows your take-home pay, the product, the usage rights and the deadline before you apply, and the take-home you see already has Aurelia’s fee taken out. The agreement is written from the campaign, and you're paid to your bank automatically when the brand approves your work.
