Instagram and Facebook Creator Marketplace in 2026: How Brands Find You Now

Instagram creator marketplace in 2026: what Meta’s Creator Marketing Hub changed, who can join, how brands find you, and how to price partnership ad access.

The Instagram creator marketplace now sits inside Meta's Creator Marketing Hub, which launched on September 15, 2026 and combined the old Creator Marketplace with the Partnership Ads Hub. Brands open it in Meta Business Suite or Ads Manager to discover creators with recommendations and AI-assisted keyword search, review a creator's partnership ads, branded content, past partners and metrics, send partnership messages, and find organic posts to boost into partnership ads. Because so much of the tool is about turning existing posts into ads, creators should expect more requests for ad access and have a price ready.

Not everything announced is documented yet. As of October 9, 2026, Meta's help pages describe the merged hub, creator discovery and content search, but not the permission expiration dates or one-click ad creation reported in trade coverage. Meta says it is onboarding Facebook creators to the Creator Marketplace API, while its hub help pages still refer to Instagram creator and business accounts. The marketplace does have a follower minimum: as of October 9, 2026, Meta's Business Help Center requires creators to be at least 18, to have a professional, public Instagram account with a minimum of 1,000 followers, and to agree to its Partner Monetization Policies.

To get found, switch to a professional account, open the creator marketplace if it has reached your account, and set interests that match what you actually post. List a contact email so a brand can copy it from your card, let brands see your insights, and use the Paid Partnership label on every paid or gifted deal, since labeled partnerships form the track record brands review. Write your bio and captions in the words a brand would search for, tag brands and products accurately, use royalty-free audio on anything that might be boosted, and never buy followers.

Partnership ad permissions come in two kinds. Content-level permission covers one post, story or Reel, through a partnership ad code or a boost toggle on a post where the brand is tagged. A code can be used by up to two advertisers at a time, and archiving an Instagram post does not remove ad code access, so turn the code off instead. Account-level permission is far broader: it lets a brand create ads from your handle without existing content and turn posts you tagged it in into ads. Meta says you can revoke either at any time.

Price ad access with an end date you control. Later's 2026 guide says paid-ads usage and whitelisting typically add 30 to 50 percent to a base rate, a convention rather than a rule. In an illustrative example, a creator charging $400 for a Reel quotes $140 to $160 for a 30-day partnership ad code, more for longer terms, and a separate monthly fee for account-level access. Send the code only after payment, with dates, edits and a renewal price in the same message. Live partnership ads on Instagram, which Meta said would start September 29, 2026, need the appearance and the boost priced separately.

Is there a Facebook creator marketplace? Not a separate one. Meta runs a single creator marketplace inside the Creator Marketing Hub, and as of October 9, 2026 its eligibility page requires a professional, public Instagram account with at least 1,000 followers, so Facebook-only creators cannot join yet. Meta said in June 2026 that it would expand the marketplace to Facebook creators, and MediaPost reported in September that onboarding to the Creator Marketplace API had begun. To get brand deals on Facebook now, run a Page or turn on pro mode for your profile, keep content public, use the Paid Partnership label, and offer partnership ads for a fee and an end date.

Facebook Content Monetization, which pays creators directly, remains invite-only and is separate from brand deals. Meta's marketplace is free and useful but passive, and you negotiate every deal yourself. That is why creators use Aurelia alongside it: brands post campaigns and you apply in a few taps with your media kit attached. Every campaign shows your take-home pay, with Aurelia's fee already taken out, plus the product, the usage rights and the deadline before you apply. The agreement is written from the campaign, and you are paid to your bank automatically when the brand approves your work. Aurelia has no follower minimum.
