Influencer Marketing Statistics 2026: 45 Sourced Numbers on Budgets, Creators, UGC, ROI and Pay

Influencer marketing statistics for 2026, each with its source and date: market size, budgets, micro and nano creators, UGC, ROI, pay and the creator economy.

Influencer marketing statistics are only useful when you can trace them. This page collects 45 influencer marketing statistics for 2026, each with its publisher, its date and who was measured, checked against the source on October 10, 2026. The headline numbers: IAB projects $44 billion in US creator ad spend for 2026, up from $37 billion in 2025; 87.49% of respondents to Influencer Marketing Hub’s 2026 survey expect bigger budgets; and creator content makes up 44% of brands’ paid media creative in CreatorIQ’s June 2026 study.

How big influencer marketing is depends on what you count. IAB measures the ad dollars brands put into creators: $37 billion in 2025, up 26% and growing about four times faster than media overall. EMARKETER measures what brands pay creators for sponsored content: $10.52 billion in 2025, with 15.7% growth expected in 2026. On budgets, four surveys agree on direction: 62% of Linqia’s enterprise marketers, 71% of CreatorIQ’s respondents, 74% of Aspire’s and 87.49% of Influencer Marketing Hub’s reported or plan higher creator budgets.

Money is moving toward smaller creators chosen for fit. About half of Influencer Marketing Hub’s 2026 respondents plan to expand work with nano, micro and UGC creators, EMARKETER forecasts that micro and nano influencers will take 45.5% of US influencer spend in 2026, and brands in CreatorIQ’s survey ranked brand suitability first and follower count last. Instagram is used by 85% of brands for creator campaigns. Socialinsider’s 2026 benchmarks put average engagement by followers at 3.73% on TikTok and 0.48% on Instagram, mostly for brand accounts.

UGC statistics point to reuse. Creator content makes up 44% of paid media creative in CreatorIQ’s June 2026 study, 81% of Linqia’s enterprise marketers say it outperforms brand-created assets, and 77% of brands in Aspire’s 2026 report repurpose it in paid ads. Return has the weakest data: more than 8 in 10 of 100 marketing leaders surveyed by CreatorIQ report at least 2x return, yet 79% of Linqia’s enterprise marketers call ROI their top challenge. No audited industry-wide ROI average exists, so work out your own break-even before you spend.

Published influencer rates vary widely. Influencer Marketing Hub’s 2026 planning ranges put one Instagram post at $10 to $100 or more for nano creators and $100 to $500 or more for micro creators, while Later’s 2026 guide lists $100 to $500 and $500 to $2,500. On Collabstr’s marketplace, the average paid collaboration was $255 on YouTube, $193 on Instagram and $186 on TikTok. For creator economy statistics, MBO Partners counted 10.1 million Americans earning money as independent creators in 2025. Goldman Sachs’ $480 billion figure is a 2023 projection for 2027, so date it.

On Aurelia, a brand turns these numbers into a campaign without the busywork. Post one campaign and it goes live in the Aurelia creator marketplace. Creators apply, and Aurelia’s picks rank them by fit with the brief, with no follower minimum. The agreement is written from the campaign with the usage terms the brand chose, creators are paid once their work is approved, and every final file comes with its usage rights. The workspace is free, with one platform fee added on top of the creator budget.
