Is Billo Legit for UGC Creators? Pay, Requirements and Reviews

Billo review for UGC creators: is Billo legit? Yes. See its $30–$120 per-video payout table, requirements, Stripe payouts, content rights and reviews.

Billo is legit. It is a UGC app, on the App Store since February 2020 (seller: Billo.app, UAB), where brands order short product videos and creators apply to set-price tasks, then film and upload in the app. As of October 10, 2026, the Billo Creator app rated 4.69 on the App Store from 1,877 ratings and 4.3 on Google Play from 308, and Billo rated 4.0 on Trustpilot from 521 reviews. Joining is free, with no subscription and no creator fee listed, and no followers are required.

Billo publishes its creator payout table. As of October 8, 2026, regular creators are paid $30 for a 15-second video, $40 for 30 seconds, $55 for 60 seconds, $65 for 90 seconds and $75 for 120 seconds; Premium creators are paid $70, $80, $90, $105 and $120. Each additional hook adds $15 and a set of four photos adds $40. Pay is fixed per task and cannot be negotiated. Premium is offered after 14 brand-approved videos, at least 5 of them rated, a 4.8 average rating and a 90% on-time score.

Billo creator requirements: you must be 18 or older, based in the US, UK or Canada (its creator terms and App Store listing also name Australia), and pass a review of a 30-second video pitch, which Billo says takes up to 7 business days. No following or experience is needed, but creators are expected to show their face. Billo’s own guide says it takes around 30 applications on average to land a first task. Once the product is delivered you have 5 days to upload, and brands have 3 business days to review before a video is auto-approved.

How Billo pays creators: in the US, Canada and the UK, approved pay moves to your Stripe account within 3 days and Stripe sends the balance to your bank every Monday. Billo’s help center says it covers transfer fees, while its creator terms say Stripe’s transaction and currency-conversion charges are the creator’s responsibility. Under the creator terms effective October 1, 2026, you assign all rights in an approved video to the brand and cannot post it yourself without written consent. Brands get up to 2 reshoot requests per video, due within 48 hours and limited to the original brief.

What reviewers say: of the 50 most recent App Store reviews (March 6 to October 7, 2026), 40 were five-star, 4 four-star and 6 one-star. Creators praise an easy, beginner-friendly app, responsive support and paid work without a following. The most common complaint is low pay for the time a task takes, followed by rejected pitches. Billo vs SideShift: Billo pays $30 to $120 for a content-only product video, while SideShift’s homepage reports a median of $7 to $9 a video across its platform over the last 90 days.

Aurelia, our pick among apps like Billo, is built around the campaign. Brands post campaigns and you apply in a few taps, with your media kit, stats and answers attached. Every campaign shows your take-home pay, the product, the usage rights and the deadline before you apply, and the take-home you see already has Aurelia’s fee taken out (a 10% creator fee as of October 2026, so a $400 campaign shows a $360 take-home). There is no follower minimum, you own your content, the agreement is generated from the campaign, and you are paid to your bank automatically when the brand approves your work.
